Ducati Diavel issued a new type of Cruiser motorcycle called the Ducati Diavel V4 which replaces the traditional V-Twin engine for a liquid-cooled V4 engine. The Bologna manufacturer plans to be marketed worldwide in January 2023.
The power generated reaches a maximum of 166.3 hp @ 10,750rpm and a Maximum torque of 93lbft @ 7500rpm which is claimed to come from the 1158cc Granturismo V4 Engine which was first seen in the Multistrada V4 adventure motorcycle line. Although the platform is similar in shape, in general, Ducati claims that the Diavel V4 with a weight of 13 kg is claimed to be lighter than the Diavel 1260 S motorbike. Five kilo grams are trimmed from the engine itself and eight kilo grams are around the rest of the motorcycle. If not filled with fuel (BBM), the Diavel V4 motorbike weighs 223 kg.
The Ducati Diavel V4 is powered by a twin-pulse firing order engine mounted encased in an aluminum monocoque chassis, previously using the steel trellis found in the 159 hp Diabe 1260. on a Multistrada V4 Rally motorcycle. This will make the Twin engine stop when used and when traveling at low speeds it will be more effective.
The Diavel V4 has a seat height of 790mm, 10mm higher than the previous Diavel. It features a 50mm Upside Down front suspension that can be adjusted for compression, preload and rebound. And the rear suspension uses a 15mm travln.
With the existence of TFT technology with a 5-inch screen as an operation of the three power modes and four driving modes of the Diavel V4 plus cornering traction control, ABS and wheelie control. This, along with Cruise Control and Launch Control and additional turn navigation features. Amazingly, everything can be connected to a mobile phone.
Power in all modes is then channeled to the ground via rear tires that use size 240/45, wrapped with Five-spoke rims at the front and rear with a braking system that relies on Brembo Stylema front calipers with 330mm twin discs.
For the headlights, LEDs are used which are equipped with a gloss plastic cover on the top of the unit. The taillights also use LED lights under the tail with a unique dotted pattern.***
