Incorrect programming system on the electronic control unit (ECU) that regulates the throttle position sensor, which causes the engine to die at idle and potential wear on the sensor.

Due to this problem, Yamaha will update the ECU software and replace the throttle position sensor on vehicles that are already in use. This repair process will take about two hours, and this repair is carried out at no cost to the vehicle owner.

Yamaha a few months ago also issued a recall for the MT-07 model related to a problem with the clutch. It is recommended that you contact your nearest authorized Yamaha dealer or Yamaha customer service center for more information and to ensure your safety on the road.***
